KPA face Eldonets as KBF Playoffs tip off on Saturday

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) will face off against Eldonets in the quarterfinals when the 2021-2022 ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/sports/category/366/basketball">Kenya Basketball Federation< (KBF) Men’s Premier League playoffs tip off this weekend on Saturday.

The local basketball league resumes after a four-week break with the men’s league the highlight of the weekend as the quarter set to be played in best of three format kick off.

The KBF Women’s Premier League will also tip off alongside the Division One leagues.

KPA finished second in the regular season behind defending champions Ulinzi Warriors and have been paired together with Eldonets who finished seventh.

Kisumu based Lakeside Basketball Club have a date with champions Ulinzi Warriors in what is a repeat of the 2019-2022 quarterfinals.

Nairobi Thunder will entertain Strathmore Blades in another quarterfinal as Equity play University of Nairobi Terror.

In the women’s premier league, regular season leaders KPA women will face off against Strathmore as University of Nairobi Dynamites play Storms.

Other matches will feature Equity Banks taking on African Nazarene University as Zetech face Eagle Wings.
