Kabras Sugar are the 2024 Dala Sevens champions.
The sugar men dethroned KCB to be crowned the new champions after seeing off rivals Menengai Oilers 24-5 in the finals played at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday.
Patrick Lumumba opened the scores after dummying his way from the right wing to score a center post try that was converted by Jackson Sketta for a 7-0 lead.
Moments later, Sketta returned to haunt Oilers after scoring at the corner to push the scores to 12-0 afte rmissed conversion.
Kenya Sevens center William Muhanji made it 17-0 at the break after bulldozing his way to the tryline for Kabras Sugar's third try of the match.

In the final half, Dennis Abukuse pulled a try back for Oilers to trail 17-5 before Sketta sealed the win.
Speaking after the win, Kabras coach Felix Ayange said they built from their Kakamega Sevens disappointments and also squad rotation helped them.
"We brought in some experience in Brian Tanga and Derrick Ashiundu, talent that helped elevate the team further. With the young Sketta hot on the wheels, we were able to overcome any challenge ahead," said Ayange.
Kabras Sugar humbled Nakuru 32-0 in the quarters where Derrick Ashiundu, Patrick Lumumba, Warren Kamadi, William Muhanji all crossed over the white wash in the win.
The sugar men then saw off Kenya Harlequin in the semis to storm finals.
Quins who also won the Kakamega Sevens two weeks ago stormed knocked out defending champions KCB in the quarterfinals before losing to Kabras.
They however finished third after seeing off MMUST 22-19 in the third place playoffs.
