Rugby: Defending champions KCB open eight-point gap in Kenya Cup

Defending champions KCB Rugby Club have opened an eight-point gap on top of the Kenya Cup standings after winning their match day 11 action over the weekend.
The reigning champions edged out Top Fry Nakuru 26-13 to bag their eighth win of the season.
Felix Ojoo, Elly Mukaizi, Rocky Aguko and captain Curtis Lilako went over the white wash to earn KCB their sixth bonus point win of the season.
The win saw bankers remain top with 38 points, eight points above their rivals Kabras Sugar RFC in second place ahead of their top of the table clash this weekend.
Kabras have 30 points and two games in hand after resting over the weekend.

Menengai Oilers are third with 17 points, 13-points behind Kabras. Oilers have won three matches and drawn once in their seven matches played so far in the campaign.
Strathmore Leos are fourth with 16 points while Impala with three games in hand sit fifth with 11 points. Leos and Impala were set to clash over the weekend but their tie was postponed.
Kenya Harlequins and Nondies stay above Nakuru RFC in sixth and seventh place with 11 and 10 points respectively as Nakuru remain eighth also with 10 points after their loss to KCB.
MMUST Rugby, Mwamba Rugby Club and Blak Blad Rugby complete the final three slots.
