Five die, three injured in accident on Kajiado-Namanga road

Five people died and three others injured on Saturday morning after two cars collided head-on at Ngatataek area on the Namanga-Kajiado highway.
The accident involved a Toyota Probox and a saloon car.
The Probox, which had several occupants on board, was headed towards Ilbisil, while the other vehicle was headed to Namanga.
The driver of the Namanga-bound car is reported to have lost control and hurtled onto the opposite lane, resulting in the deadly crash, police said.

Four occupants of the Probox and the driver of the saloon car died on the spot.
Three injured people were taken to Kajiado County Referral Hospital for treatment, while the deceased were moved to the facility’s morgue.
