President William Ruto has once again criticized his political opponents, accusing them of lacking a clear agenda for Kenyans and attempting to divide the country along tribal lines.
Speaking at Friends Comprehensive School Kivaywa in Kakamega County, the President condemned what he described as the opposition’s persistent focus on ethnic politics and power-sharing rhetoric.
"We cannot hand over power to such people. They have been on a trail to divide Kenyans by spreading hatred and bitterness. All they do is talk about shares," Ruto said.
He further challenged his rivals to face him directly instead of "destabilizing the country."
During the same event, Ruto announced the allocation of Sh3 billion for a rural electrification program aimed at connecting 85,000 households in Western Kenya to the national grid.
