Nairobi, Kenya: Laptrust Administration Services Ltd, a retirement benefits schemes administrator which manages Kenya’s oldest pension scheme covering county government employees, has changed its name to CPF Financial Services Ltd.
This comes as it embarks on the next phase of transformation that will see it expand its operations locally and regionally.
However, the core structure comprising Laptrust (Defined Benefits) Scheme and Laptrust Umbrella Retirement Fund (Defined Contributions) remains intact in changes.
The new entity was launched by Nairobi County Governor Dr Evans Kidero in Nairobi. The new development comes at a time when Kenya’s social security space is undergoing extensive changes.
According to CPF Financial Services Ltd CEO Hosea Kili, the new vehicle is a response to the changing dynamics in the social security space especially in the provision of pension management services to county government staff.
