Kenya's High Commissioner to Canada receives exemplary performance award

The International Public Diplomacy Council (IPDC) has honoured Immaculate Wambua, Kenya's High Commissioner to Canada, with the prestigious title of Ambassador of the Year 2023, recognising her outstanding performance.
The award was the result of a collaborative effort between IPDC, the Professional Development Institute at the University of Ottawa, and the Deanship of Diplomatic Corps of Canada.
IPDC said on Twitter, Wambua was commended for her exemplary work in Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Engagement.
"Yesterday evening [Friday], the High Commissioner, Amb. Immaculate Wambua, received the Ambassador of the Year 2023 Award on behalf of the Mission, in recognition of her exceptional performance in Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Engagement," the official Twitter account for Kenya in Canada said on Saturday, June 03, 2023.
Wambua received the prestigious award on Friday, 2 June, along with 12 other accomplished individuals who were also named Ambassadors of 2023.
