The National Police Service says it has begun investigations into the invasion of former President Uhuru Kenyatta's Northlands Farm in Ruiru, Kiambu County and the stoning of Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga's Spectre company on Mombasa Road during protests on Monday.
During the demonstrations, more than 100 intruders invaded a firm linked to former President Uhuru and cut down trees using power saws.
The invaders also made away with 1,500 sheep before setting a section of the farm on fire.
At the same time, suspected goons destroyed property and smashed windows at the East Africa Spectre Limited, a company owned by the Odinga family.
Inspector-General of Police Japhet Koome, in a statement on Tuesday, said that those involved in the destruction of property will face the full force of the law.

"We received reports of invasion and destruction of a farm in Kiambu County. Relatedly, we have received reports of invasion of a private company within Embakasi area in Nairobi to which our officers responded swiftly and prevented further crimes.
"Our investigation into the destructions and injuries caused has begun, and those found culpable shall face the law. We are appealing to the public to adhere to the rule of law when exercising their constitutional rights to picket, petition or demonstrate," said Koome.
