Police in Nairobi are investigating the death of Standard Group journalist Moses Omusolo.
The body of the Business writer was found inside an open trench along Kangundo Road in Kayole on Wednesday night.
Omusolo had suffered a cut on the head, according to the police. All his personal effects including his mobile phone and identification documents were found intact.
Kayole DCI has since taken over the investigations.
Investigators say the scene of the attack was within Omusolo's neighbourhood, giving an indication that he could have been heading home when he was attacked.
