Power outage reported in different parts of Kenya

Power blackout has been reported in different parts of the country.
The areas affected include Nairobi, Mombasa, Busia, Kakamega, Kiambu, Makueni, Nakuru, Nyandarua, Kilifi, Kajiado, Machakos, Garissa and Eldoret.
The Kenya Power was yet to communicate the cause of the blackout as of the time of publishing this story.
Most of the affected areas confirmed outage at around 9am on Wednesday, November 2.
Kenya Power had, on Tuesday, November 1, said that there would be outage in Kangemi and Kileleshwa areas of Nairobi County on Wednesday, November 2.

The blackout, according to the Kenya Power, would last between 9am and 5pm.
Other areas are Kalama in Machakos County, Boro Market and Uradi in Siaya County, Uriri, Bware and Oyani in Migori County and Bamburi in Mombasa County.
The firm said the power equipment in the mentioned areas would be undergoing maintenance during the interruption.
