Policeman fighting for his life in hospital

A policeman is fighting for his life in hospital after he was injured in a shootout with suspected thugs in Kayole on Friday.
One suspect was killed in the morning incidence in B3.
The police constable and his colleagues were pursuing a gang that had been attacking and robbing locals. Authorities say the officer was shot in the head and is on life support machine.
Kayole police Chief Joseph Gichangi said three suspects escaped. A swoop was carried out hours later and more than 200 suspects arrested. The station was on Saturday crowded as relatives of those arrested sought their release
