Tigoi Girls High School and Musingu Boys High School are the 2024 Brookside KSSSA national hockey girls' and boys' champions respectively.
The Western region champions saw off their Nyanza and Rift Valley counterparts respectively to dominate hockey in Machakos.
Tigoi Girls edged out Nyamira Girls 2-1 in the finals played at Machakos University grounds on Saturday.
Tigoi got off to a perfect start after going up 2-0 in the opening five minutes after converting their short corners.
An Amanda Wamalwa penalty flick in the second quarter did little to change history as Tigoi won their first ever national hockey title.
