"We wanted to finish top to avoid meeting the big teams and am glad we started well. We are scoring goals which is good and now what we have to do is play even better than we did today," said Lusaka.
After knocking out last year's East Africa runners up Trans Nzoia Mixed Secondary School to qualify for the county games last month, St Joseph Girls belive they have what it takes to win the regional gong.
In the boy's category, national champions St Anthony's Boys Kitale thrashed Ndururumo 6-0 in their opening Group C match.
