Liverpool and Belgium goal keeper Simon Mignolet has lifted the lid over his dissatisfaction with lack of game time at Anfield that he says could jeopardize his chances of getting a call-up for World Cup in Russia come June.

The Belgian has been frozen out of the lineup, and has been a regular bench player since Jurgen Klopp brought in Lloris Karius who has since solidified his position as number one choice.

He is now admitting that he could seek a move away from the Merseyside club any time soon if there is need to maintain his slot at the Belgian world cup squad.

While talking to the British media, the Sun, Mignolet indicated that Belgium coach Roberto Martinez watched the Liverpool game against league leaders Manchester City, and sent him a message of support. But that cannot erase his fears of being bundled out of the first eleven or the squad of Belgium.

After having played in recent matches against Japan among other friendlies, the 30 year old believes that Martinez has faith in him. But the ball is on his coat to return that favour by nailing a regular spot to stay fit as the World Cup tourney nears.

Mignolet is battling for a spot against his compatriot Thibaut Courtois who plays for English Champions Chelsea. Courtois on the other hand is a regular starter for the Blues and has so far maintained over 10 clean sheets on the current season.
