Muhoroni Youth upbeat ahead of Super League top of the table clash

Muhoroni Youth is confident of earning promotion to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League next season.
The club is currently third in the National Super League (NSL) standings with 53 points with eight matches left till the end of the regular season.
Ahead of their top of the table clash with second placed Fortune Sacco (54 points) who are a point ahead of them at Muhoroni Stadium in Kisumu County on Saturday from 1pm, Muhoroni Youth captain Fredrick Odongo said they are confident of earning promotion and the journey starts with collecting maximum points against Fortune Sacco.
“We are ready for them. The team is focused on winning all our remaining eight matches. If we defeat Fortune Sacco today, we will be at a better position of solidifying our chances of finishing among the top two. We cannot accept defeat at home,” said Odongo.
Muhoroni has played one match more than Fortune Sacco.

Top two teams at the end of the season will be promoted to the top tier league automatically by virtue of finishing second and first as the third placed team will be forced to face Wazito in the relegation-promotion playoffs match.
Administration Police Service-Bomet are top of the standings with 57 points from 29 matches and they will be facing Zoo Kericho at Green Stadium.
Other matches will feature Muranga Seals hosting Vihiga United, Kisumu All Stars playing Gusii and Shabana hosting Migori Youth in Narok.
Shabana FC on Tuesday announced they have moved their home matches to William Ole Ntimama Stadium in Narok County.
