Bungoma, Kenya: The Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet) Bungoma branch has put on notice men preying on schoolgirls.
The union wants those found engaging in sexual activities with teenagers to be punished irrespective of the positions they hold or their stature in the society.
Kuppet’s county gender secretary Rebecca Masibayi said they are concerned that many young girls in the region have dropped out of school due to pregnancy.
Masibayi disclosed Bumula sub-county leads in teen pregnancy.
