K24 reporter claims politician threatened him

A journalist has recorded a statement with the police after allegedly receiving threats from a parliamentary aspirant.
Dickson Macharia, a cameraman with K24, claims that Mbeere North parliamentary aspirant Dr Patrisio Njiru gave him an ultimatum to vacate the county within two weeks, failure to which he will face dire consequences.
Embu West DCIO George Etyang said they have commenced investigations into the alleged threats. Dr Njiru has since denied the allegations.
