The tournament was held over the weekend at the Seafront course, in Mombasa.

Mokaya, who braved the current tough course condition, edged home club’s Fiona Mbadi to the runner-up slot by a four-point difference in the day-long event that attracted 150 golfers.

The golfers who graced the occasion in honour of club Lady captain, included Kenya Lady Golf Union Chair lady Sarah Hoar, as well as golfers from Nyali, Leisure, Vipingo, Malindi and others  across several golf clubs.

The event was sponsored by National Bank, Atalas Tea Brokers, KCB, Kericho Gold, Kenya School of Revenue, Nyali Centre, Groove Academy, My Credit Finance, EABL and friends of the Lady Captain, among others.

Ken Kimundi, on 38 points, was the Men winner
