Voroni Strikers’ crowning as the Mombasa County Maisha league champions was put on hold after their 12 match unbeaten record went up in smoke when they were beaten 1-0 by Shanzu United at Shanzu Harare ground.

Hassan Zubra scored the all-important goal for the hosts in the 75th minute. The result threw the Maisha County league title wide open between Voroni Strikers and Shanzu Swansea.
