Handball: KHF league showdown resumes

The Kenya Handball Federation national league resumes with six matches at Nyayo Stadium handball court today.

Strathmore men’s team the showdown against Technical University of Kenya (TUK) at 9 am.

Strathmore, who have enjoyed top form this season will be seeking to maintain their unbeaten run. They stand on top of the standings with 16 points from eight matches.

In another tie, Boomerang entertain newcomers National Youth Service (NYS) at 10:30am while Black Mamba, the 2012 champions who are placed second with 14 points from seven matches, battle it out against TUK at noon.

Divas and NYS encounter at 1:40pm is the only women fixture of the day. Divas coach-cum-player, Alexina Ambani, expects a great spectacle despite having not played against big teams like National Cereals and Produce Board and defending champions Nairobi Water.
