Senator Mike Sonko: Nairobi will be a better place when I become governor

In the biggest hint so far that he is eying the Nairobi governor seat come 2017, Senator Mike Sonko has said Nairobi City will be a better place under his leadership.

“When I become the Governor of Nairobi, this city will become a beautiful place,” he told MondayBlues.

“Nairobi has the potential of becoming the best city in Africa. If service delivery is enhanced, the city will transform and we will be able to restore our glory,” he added.

The senator made the remarks at Nerkwo restaurant in South B where he was hosting football fans.
