Tanzanian song bird Lady Jaydee’s ex-husband Gardner G. Habash has revealed that the singer  divorced him over the phone.

In a recent interview with Tanzanian newspaper Rasasi, the radio presenter says that Lady Jaydee called him while she was on tour at US.

“I remember it was in July, 2014 when I had booked Jaydee for a show in the United States. Her trip was to end after seven days. However, I advised her to stay for another three weeks – at least to extend her vacation. On the third week, she called me. She wanted us to part ways once she was back,” he said.

He, however, does not know why she dumped him.

“Jaydee is in a better position to reveal why she decided to call off the marriage. Besides, the normal hitches in marriage, I was in good terms with her. I don’t know what made her walk out on me.”

Habash claimed he has no ill feelings towards the singer.

“I harbour no bitterness towards her. I am not her enemy. I am now grateful the divorce has been finalized, and I know I will find love,” said Gardner.

Jaydee was granted the divorce early this month.

The two married in 2005 and divorced in 2014.
