MALINDI: 'Jubilee sitting on TJRC report'

Politics
By Patrick Beja | Mar 03, 2016

ODM leader Raila Odinga (right) yesterday accused the Jubilee coalition of refusing to implement the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission's (TJRC) report in order to protect the President's interests. He said TJRC and the National Land Commission, which he also accused Jubilee of frustrating using the courts, hold the panacea to Kenya's land problems and historical injustices. He told a campaign rally at Alaskan Grounds in Malindi that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto "have no moral authority to discuss a solution to the land problems in Kenya because they have sat on the TJRC report".
