Louis van Gaal is fearing for his Manchester United future after taking a short-term lease on a house, according to The Sun.

The under-fire Dutchman is expected to be out of a job come the summer and Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Sunderland has only pushed him closer to the exit.

Van Gaal has reportedly just signed for a new home in the Greater Manchester area, but his leasing agreement is believed to have a term that will let him leave the property as urgently if need be.

The 64-year-old will now live with his wife Truus in a stunning £1.4million apartment in Bowdon.
