Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been banned from taking his frequent Moroccan trips by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

The Portuguese has struggled to consistently find his best form in recent weeks, and Perez has lost his patience, according reports.

Ronaldo regularly escapes to Morocco to see close friend Badr Hari, reportedly visiting every afternoon - leaving after training in the morning and returning to Madrid in the evening.

Perez has apparently entrusted the help of Moroccan king and friend Mohamed VI to let him know when Ronaldo is in the country.

The Real superstar snapped a two-game goal drought by scoring a brace in Los Blancos' 5-1 win over Sporting Gijon last Sunday.

He failed to find the net in the previous game, where Gareth Bale scored a hat-trick in the 5-0 victory against Deportibo La Coruna.

Zinedine Zidane's side face Real Betis on Sunday, looking to keep pace with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the top of the table.
