The anticipated Pulse Music Vides Awards happened last night at the Imax theatre Nairobi. Hosted by radio presenters  Shaffie Weru and lovely Mwalimu Rachel, the awards kicked off with their punchlnes tickling the crowd.

AAFro-band Sauti Sol were the major winners of they night after bagging two awards. Bahati won the Male artistes of the year as Avril reigned over her competitors to bag the female artistes of the year.

The event graced by  both the godfathers of the music industry  and upcoming artistes, spilled over to past midnight as performances thrilled the night

With great performances from Kagwe and C2K  with massive hit “Kidero Grass”, the night had simply began.  Gospel artiste Mercy Masika , took it a notch higher as she entertained  the crowd by storm with a remarkable “Mwema” performance that took everyone out of their seats.

Female of the Year award went to Avril

Sura Yako by Sauti Sol took home the  YouTube Video of The year award
