Wilfried Zaha appears to have sent a clear message to Arsenal as the Crystal Palace star hints at a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The Ivory Coast winger came close to a move to the Gunners last year, but the club's former boss, Unai Emery, opted to recruit Nicolas Pepe from Lille.

Zaha has since said it was an "amazing" feeling to be linked with his boyhood club even though they moved for a different transfer target.

And the 27-year-old - who is contracted at Selhurst Park until 2023 - seems to have sent Arsenal chiefs a message saying he would still like the transfer to north London.

In footage uploaded to Instagram, Zaha is filmed by a supporter in what looks like a nightclub and is seen pointing to bright red lettering on the wall which reads: "Zaha to Arsenal."

The video's caption hammered home the statement, saying: "So me and @wilfriedzaha have a message for you guys @arsenal."

A number of other videos pictured Zaha with fans and once again called on the Gunners to get a deal for the Eagles man over the line.

Zaha has been linked with a move away from Palace since the end of the season, when manager Roy Hodgson admitted the player was set on leaving the south London club.

“Wilf has made it clear ever since I came to the club, really, that he would like to move on and find some pastures new," Hodgson said after the 1-1 draw with Tottenham on the final day.

"But of course he is a very valuable player and the club realises his value.

“Everything will depend on what sort of offers the club receives for him. Or maybe we satisfy his wishes and allow him to go after giving good service to the club for a period of time.

“Quite frankly I have no answer… it will be a matter of seeing what transpires.”
