Homa Bay's Agoro Sare Boys will represent Nyanza region in national secondary schools term one games in Mombasa next month.

Shimo La Tewa High School and Shanzu Teachers Training College in Mombasa County will host the showdown from April 5-14.

Agoro Sare qualified in basketball boys and rugby sevens after they beat Siaya's Chianda Boys 17- 5 in finals. They also humbled Nduru 19 -12 in semi-finals on Wednesday.

They also edged out Maseno School 56-54 in basketball finals after they saw off defending champions Ambira 65-53 in the semis.

Homa Bay Boys will represent the region in hockey while Kanyawanga Boys of Migori won the handball crown. Maseno will compete in rugby 15s while Nyamira Girls from Siaya County will line up in hockey as Sega headline handball.
