A young Croatian player saw red for emulating Diego Simeone's infamous 'Cojones' Celebration during a youth game.

The Atletico Madrid manager produced the infamous celebration last month after his side scored their second goal against Juventus in the first leg of their two-legged Champions League tie.

Simeone defended himself by saying he didn't offend anyone with is Celebration.

'I did it as a player at Lazio and I did it again to show our fans that we have cojones. I can only apologise if anyone was offended. It wasn't aimed at the other team; I was turning towards our own supporters.' Said Argentine.

However, he did not escape punishment as he was fined 17,000 pounds for his 'unacceptable' celebration.

In Croatia, the 17,000 fine could have been a little unfair for a young player who just started his football career. So, the referee made it easier for the youngster by just showing him a straight red.

Tino Blaz, a Hajduk Split Under 19 player mimicked Simeone's celebration after scoring in their match against local rivals Hrvatski Dragovoljac.

Blaz is not the only player who has invited trouble for the Argentine's celebration.
