Alexis Sanchez wasn't spotted among the Manchester United players to board a private jet to Brighton on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho led his players on the plane eyeing back-to-back wins following a 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

The Chilean started that game at Old Trafford and recently declared he was in the shape of his life following a competition free summer.

However, Sanchez was nowhere to be seen among the travelling players on Saturday.

The United boss has also drawn attention to himself in recent days, slamming Manchester City's new documentary ‘All or Nothing’ as disrespectful.

But Mourinho will have to put his irritations to one side when he takes to the dugout at the AMEX at 4pm on Sunday.

It's United's first away game of the season following their 2-1 win over Leicester a week ago.

Pogba captained United to victory at Old Trafford and will wear the armband once again.

"For the next match Paul will be captain," Mourinho said in his press conference on Friday.

"Last season I made Paul captain against Basel we thought he’s a young guy but a good personality, he was made in academy, normally a starting line-up player, so he has conditions to be captain in the future.

"But when Antonio comes back he will be the captain."

There were reports this week that Pogba and Mourinho were involved in a fiery bust-up.

But Mourinho rubbished these claims.

"The truth is we are together for two years and a couple of weeks and I’ve never been so happy with him as I am now, that’s the truth," said the United boss.

"I cannot demand more from him, I cannot ask more from him, he came here on a Monday, trained three days, I asked for his support for his contribution in an important match for us when the team had difficulties.

"He’s working extremely well here but I have to say in his defence, write what you want about him, me, please don’t say lies, don’t put him in a situation that people can think he’s not a polite, educated guy, he is.

"He never had a fight with me.

"We never had a harsh exchange of words, everything is respected, I have no problems at all."
