Hockey: County tourney on at Aga Khan

Eight teams will be in action today during the Mombasa County junior seven-a-side hockey tournament at the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa.

Mombasa County Hockey Association Secretary Feisal Yasin said the tournament involves under one and under 13 teams for both boys and girls and will be played on knock-out basis.

Yasin said each match will last 12 minutes without a break. Boy’s teams are Kivukoni, Jaffery Academy under 11 and 13 and Aga Khan Academy’s under 13. Girl’s teams are Kivukoni under 13, Jaffery Academy under 11 and 13 and Aga Khan Academy’s under 13. [Ernest Ndunda]
