Antoine Griezmann is a summer target for Europe top teams and he has been for a long time linked with a move to Manchester United but the move has never materialized following Atletico’s transfer ban that scuttled the deal.

In this summer, Barcelona are deemed the favourites to land Griezmann as he has been tipped to move to Spain. The Catalans are reported to have a deal already in place to sign the forward.

The 27-year-old insist he will make a decision over his future before the start of the World Cup that kicks off in the summer. Atletico Madrid are keen to offer the star a new contract even if it means paying him the same amount the Catalans are offering him.

The French international suggested that he wants to go to Russia with a peace of mind and have asked Atletico to sort his situation beforehand.

‘I want to travel to Russia without this concern,’ he told ="http://metro.co.uk/2018/03/21/antoine-griezmann-tells-barcelona-future-resolved-world-cup-7404018/">L’Equipe<.

‘It’s not about knowing where I’ll play, but about having the peace of mind if I’m still in one place or another.

‘It may be boring, but I have told my sister that, whether I stay or not, this will have to be resolved before the start of the World Cup.

‘What bothers me the most is that everyone asks me about this issue.’ He added.
