Samir Nasri's ex-girlfriend, Antara Antanes, has denied hacking the Manchester City star's Twitter account and posting lewd messages to his 2.6million followers.

Frenchman Nasri, who's currently on loan at Sevilla, found himself in the spotlight last week when tweets began to show up on his account claiming he'd had sex with a Drip Doctor.

Nasri and Antanes spent time in LA over Christmas and Anara booked the former Arsenal star an IV drip as he was suffering with flu.

Physician's assistant Jamila Sozahdah carried out the procedure and a picture later appeared of her alongside Nasri on Drip Doctors' Twitter account alongside the caption: "We provided @SamNasri19 a concierge Immunity IV Drip to keep him hydrated & in top health during his busy soccer season with @Sevilla FC."

Unexpectedly, a response sent from Nasri's account said: "U also provided me a full sexual service too right after. So guys make sure you get this service. This w***e comes and f**s the same night.

"Please tell the world aswell of the other concierge treatment your girl gave straight after the iv drip."

Nasri later tweeted he had been hacked, but Anara, who was with Nasri from 2013 up until the Drip Doctors episode, says she wasn't to blame.

“That wasn’t me," she said. "If I need to say anything it will come from my mouth.”

Nasri is under investigation by the Spanish Anti-Doping Agency (AEPSAD) over the treatment he received.

The Drip Doctors say the procedure, which costs US$200, uses one litre of hydration fluid.

However, World Anti-Doping Agency rules only permit 50 millilitres to be taken intravenously without medical reason or if a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) has been approved.
