A plus for DP Ruto after Kibra by-election

As the main race come 2022 draws more attention, it is important to know your stronghold and attract other 'difficult' zones to your camp. This is exactly what DP Ruto is doing.

As ODM celebrates Bernard Imran Okoth's win, DP Ruto's camp is celebrating an increase in the percentage of voters.

This battle has seen DP Ruto confirm a 27% increase in voters from the 17% garnered back in 2017.

If Ruto's side commands such support in what is supposed "Baba's bedroom," it means he will definitely get good votes in all of Baba's strongholds.

The big question is, however, if Raila contested with Ruto in the coming presidential election, will he garner a big percentage of votes in Ruto's backyard?

Raila should rethink his strength in his backyard. There is a loophole.
