All eyes will be on defending champions Nyakach Girls, Kisumu Day in football and rugby sevens giants Maseno School as the 2024 Kisumu County Secondary School games kick off on Thursday at Maseno School.

At the same time, national champions Onjiko High School will be seeking to remind their fans that they can still dominate basketball 3x3.

Last year, Nyakach Girls were in their best form as they won the football, basketball 3x3, netball and volleyball titles, a feat everyone will be keen on to see whether they will defend the four titles.

Nyakach will kick off their title defense against Migingo before playing Tieng're in their second pool game.

Kisumu Day will kick off their boys' football title defense against Kasagam Secondary from 10am, as hosts Maseno School entertain Nyakoko.

A high octane match pitting Maseno School and Kisumu Day will follow before Kasagam play Nyakoko.

In rugby sevens, hosts Maseno School will seek to put behind their Term One games disappointments when they lost in the semifinals of the regional games.

Maseno will also be in action in basketball 3x3 where they will renew their rivalry with national champions Onjiko.
