ESports: Lusigi lands international appointment

ESports Federation Kenya President Ronny Lusigi has been appointed to the International Relations and Development Commission of the Global Esports Federation (GEF).

Lusigi, 28, who was elected as the federation's boss last year, thanked GEF CEO Paul Foster for giving him an opportunity to serve in the commission.

The youthful official promised to give strong emphasis on esports growth in Africa.

"I am humbled by this appointment. Many thanks to our CEO Mr. Foster for entrusting me and my nation with this responsibility. I also thank our African Esports Development Federation President Mr. Tommy Sitholr for the recommendation and mentorship. I look forward to contributing to the growth of esports especially in Africa," said Lusigi.

The International Relations and Development Commission is headed by Aurelia Ruetsh from France.
