Former national girls secondary schools netball champions Kaya Tiwi have made clear that friendship has it's limits.

This is after they whitewashed their opponents to qualify for the Kwale County term as they embark on the journey of reclaiming the national title they lost last year to Kobala of Homa Bay County, Nyanza region.

Kaya Tiwi proved they are prepared to correct last year's poor show at the national level after they won all their matches of the Matuga sub county games with huge scores.

In the final netball match, Kaya Tiwi humiliated former Coast region netball champions Matuga girls 105-5.

In other matches Kaya Tiwi clobbered their neighbours Kaya Tiwi Girls secondary school 91-0 before pouring more anger on Kombani to hit them 87-0. The champions went further to thrash Kwale girls high school 100-4.

Matuga girls settled for the second position to join Kaya Tiwi for the Kwale County games slated for July 5-8 at Lunga Lunga school in Msamweni. Matuga beat Waa girls 27-22 in a closely fought match.

In girls 3x3 basketball, Kaya Tiwi completed their double after winning all their matches with an unbeaten record.

They beat Waa Girls 10-1, Mwanabeyu 13-5, Matuga 11-5 and ended the rout with a 21-2 win over Kwale Girls.

Matuga were second after beating Kwale Girls 15-1, Mwanabeyu 9-3 and Waa Girls 8-3.
