St Joseph Girls Kitale off to a flying start in sub county games

St Joseph Girls Kitale on Friday begun their journey to qualify for the Trans Nzoia County Secondary School games set for next month on the front foot after winning all their matches in the ongoing sub county games played at St Joseph Boys High School.

In girls football, they begun the day with a 4-0 thrilling win over Tuwani Girls in their opening Group A match ahead of their bout with Lukesi Bishop Crowley today (Saturday).

In netball, it was the same story of St Jospeh Girls dominance as they blistered St Veronica Chebukaka 84-0 in their Group C match. They proceeded to edge out St Anthanas Kisawai 53-1.

In girl's volleyball, St Philips TuuyoKony was the next casualty after going down 3-0 to St Jospeh. JOGA as they are commonly refereed to took the first set 25-10, second set 25-5 and finished off TuuyoKony 25-6 in the final set.

"For long, the term twogames in Tranzoia county has been an affair of Wiyeta girls in football and Kesogon in volleyball. This time St Joseph's is out to overthrow all this teams in Football,volleyball and netball. We shall swipe clean all this slots as we did in term 1," said John Lusaka, St Joseph sports teacher.
