Brazil is among the six countries that will arrive this week for the Mombasa Open international Tong Il Moo Do tournament.

Kenya Tong Il Moo Do Federation President Clarence Mwakio said they’re expecting Brazil, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, US and Ethiopia.

Over 25 countries are expected to take part in the event. Others are Paraguay, Cyprus, Ivory Coast, Philippines, South Korea, Cambodia, Japan, Congo Brazzaville, Iran, Turkey, Zambia, Malaysia, Central Africa Republic, Nepal, Angola and Germany

“The six foreign countries are expected in Mombasa before the start of the tournament on Sunday,” said Mwakio.

He said the tournament starts with participating teams taking part in clinics and training sessions, which will be conducted by founder of Tong-IL Moo-Do, great grand master Joon Ho Seuk and World Tong Il Moo Do Federation President grandmaster Takamistu Hoshiko.

Mwakio said participants will be trained on martial arts skills, learn character education and participate in martial arts styles.
