Kenya National Polo Team face Zambia in three international matches from Friday at Manyatta Polo Club in Gilgil.

The matches are a follow up of the National Women's Team participation in the Lusaka International Championships two weeks back with Kenya captain Tiva Gross voted the Most Valuable Player(MVP).

Kenya Polo Association has divided the team into two sides namely the National Senior side and the National Team B.

The senior side are led by handicap 5.5 Casimir Gross. Others are handicap 5 Craig Millar, handicap 3.5 Jamie Murray and handicap 3 Archie Voorspuy who were selected during the Kinsmen Championships at Northern Kenya Polo Club in Timau last month.

The junior side is led by handicap 2.5 diminutive Kimoi Moi with the rest of the team members being Owakwe Arunga(1.0), Jose Craig(2.5) and Henry Limb (2.5) while Richard Stonewigg is the overall coach for both the junior and senior sides.

Last weekend, Stonewigg said both teams were ready for the matches with the junior side having had a week for their training sessions.

"We are ready for the Zambians as players have had enough training sessions especially the senior side selected weeks back," Stonewigg told The Standard Sports at Manyatta Polo Club last weekend during the Mugs of Mugs Championships.

The junior side was selected last week at the same venue during the Mugs of Mugs Championships won by the Samurai team popularly known as the Nzomo Boys led by the Most Valuable Player(MVP) Jadini Nzomo, Hiromi Nzomo, Amani Nzomo and Arunga.

Kenya B play Zambia on Friday ahead of Zambians facing Kenya A on Saturday in their first epic match with the final match of the two giants (Kenya A and Zambia) meeting set for Sunday.

Matches:

Saturday - Kenya A Vs Zambia

Sunday - Kenya A Vs Zambia
