A global technology company has launched a new application that aims to help accountants in Kenya streamline their firm's operations and deliver exceptional client experience.

Zoho, which also offers Zoho Books, a VAT-compliant accounting solution that integrates with Tax Invoice Management Systems (TIMS), said its new app, Zoho Practice, is an end-to-end practice management solution.

The app includes features such as client management, document management, task management, timesheets, billing, collaboration and AI-driven anomaly detection.

"Zoho has been committed to serving its customers and the business community in Kenya," said the company's head in Kenya Veerakumar Natarajan.

He went on to add: "Today, with the launch of Zoho Practice, we aim to help accountants save time and focus more on providing bespoke services to their clients, such as how to curb organisational spend, identify additional revenue sources, and strategies for accelerating business growth."

The company also announced the expansion of its Zoho Finance Platform, which has achieved 102 per cent year-on-year growth in new customers in Kenya.

The portal allows developers to easily build solutions to customise specific functions of their finance applications and automate routine processes.

The Zoho Finance Platform has evolved from a single invoicing product to a full-fledged finance and operations suite over the course of 15 years.
