Mali Safi Chito hitmaker Marakwet Daughter has revealed that she is single but wants to only get married to a legislator.

The gospel singer professed her love for Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimaiyo, asking for his hand in marriage.

"Kuja unitoe soko MP Keiyo South Gideon Kimaiyo, I am waiting for you babe," she said in the interview.

The interviewer interrupted her asking, asking if the MP was married to which she replies, "He is not married, he is waiting for me and here I am."

"Come I want to go to Parliament with you, but I will not go to Parliament with you," she said.

"I am a Kalenjin lady, I will stay at home and rear chickens and goats, grow some vegetables, and take care of cows but do not look for other women I will be waiting for you at home," she said.

"Come baby come, if you do not, I will come for you," she says, suggesting that if Kimaiyo turns down her offer, she has a 'spare wheel' ready to take his place.

The legislator shared the short clip on his Twitter handle captioning it, "Hii imeenda".

The singer shot to fame after the Mali Safi Chito song grew in popularity on TikTok and other social media platforms.

The song, which was uploaded on November 4, 2023, has 7.9 million views on YouTube.
