Bursts of joy as Standard group hosts 3rd edition of Club Kiboko festival

Parents and their kids were treated to euphoric moments as the Standard Media Group hosted the 3rd edition of the Club Kiboko Festival at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Langata.

The festival made a big come back after break following the covid-19 pandemic that wreaked havoc across the globe.

Comedian Sleepy was the headline showstopper who steeped on stage at 2pm when KTN home aired the event live in air.

Ivy Princes of Good Testimony Baraka School, Embakasi, Nairobi shows her skills in violin solo performing.

The festival provided an opportune moment for parents and their children to lear, play and have fun together.

11-year-old Ivy Princes, a grade 5 pupil at Good Testimony Baraka school, Embakasi, Nairobi and the Kenya National Music festival 2023 Violin Solo performer champion displayed her skills amid cheers.

Ivy will also be among those performing for the President at the events gala.

Some of the kids who showed up for the festival follow up on entertainment.

Club Kiboko is a kid's program that airs on KTN television.

On the decks was also gifted one hand Dj King King kept the crowd on their feet. DeeDee restaurant and others were on site for the delicacies. Other performances were by House of Swat from Dandora.

"I am so proud to perform Infront of so many kids who are also my age mates and this gives me more psych ahead of my performance for the President. Parents help your kids nature their talents," said Ivy.

And that photo was funny.

Achieng Muga-Ben from the HR department said the event was fun filled for all participants.

Best of buddies.

"I love that the activities of the day were so geared towards kids in all aspects. Be it school, health among others. It was a very insightful fun filled day for both kids and parents. My daughter was so inspired by the kids' presentations," she said.
