Misericordiae Queens from Makadara edged Page Vision Ladies from Mathare Valley 4-3 on post-match penalties to sail into the finals at the ongoing Safaricom Chapa Dimba Nairobi Regional Finals at Dandora Stadium on Saturday.

Laureen Achieng, Daisy Atieno, Quinter Achieng and Dinah Adhiambo found the back of the net for the winners in the tense penalty shootout.

Scorers for Page Vision Ladies were Joyce Magati, Purity Otieno and Serina Atieno.

Both sides battled to a barren draw in regular time with each side wasting crucial chances in the cutthroat second half.

Misericordiae Queens will now tackle Dagoretti Mixed Girls in today's final after they beat Beijing Raiders 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time in the second semi-finals yesterday.

Young Kings FC (Dandora) saw off Lucky Summer Sports Club (Lucky Summer) 1-0 to set up a final date with Dagoretti Lions who beat Macmillan FC (Landimawe) 2-1 in the semis.

The champions in the Sunday's finals will each walk home with Sh250,000 while runners up will go home Sh150,000 richer apiece.

Best player, best goalkeeper and top scorer in the categories will be awarded Sh30,000 each.

Ahead of the crunch finals, Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK FC) will battle with Safaricom Staff FC in a curtain raiser clash that will see the winners walk away with Sh100,000.

"We have trained well and we are ready to tackle Safaricom," SJAK FC coach Gregory Mulemi told Standard Sports.

He said that their midweek friendly match against Tusker Corporate FC, which resulted in a 2-2 draw, helped the scribes to gauge their fitness ahead of today's encounter.

The tournament aims to provide a structured platform for scouts and coaches to tap into a vast resource of upcoming talent and build feeder systems for the Kenyan leagues nationwide, while training 250 coaches.
