Ruiru Sports Club will this weekend host the eighth edition of G4B Golf tournament that has attracted 245 players who will battle for top honors.

According to the club captain Jessy Ndegwa, this is one of the biggest competition in the annual club's calendar.

"We are excited to host this edition of the championship, so far it has been the biggest attraction year round," Ndegwa underlined.

The G4B is a commercial club that brings together several businesses spanning various sectors of Kenya's economy.

Apart from Ndegwa, top club amateurs Frank Munyua and Ben Omondi are among those who have been tipped to do well in the tournament owing to their current blazing form.

Meanwhile, winners of the 2022 Johnnie Walker Golf Series, dubbed the 'Road to Gleneagles,' were recently rewarded with an unforgettable three-day trip to the renowned Gleneagles Golf Course in Scotland.

The series, which attracted over 3,000 golf enthusiasts from across the country, culminated in a thrilling final round held at Karen Country Club last year, with the team from Kericho Golf Club emerging as the champions.

The squad, consisting of Patrick Cheruiyot, Patrick Langat, Erick Mutai, and Julius Rono put on an exceptional display of golfing prowess at the tournament, earning them the coveted prize of a trip to the iconic Gleneagles Golf Course.

During their trip, the winners were treated to a tour of the legendary golf course, known for its breathtaking views and challenging holes. They also had the rare opportunity to play a round themselves.
