Harambee Stars duo Calabar, Otieno feted in Zambia

Kenyan internationals David ‘Calabar’ Owino and Ian Otieno have been feted by their respective clubs after performing better in the Zambian League.
David ‘Calabar’ Owino scooped the Most Disciplined Player of the Year for Napsa Stars in the end of season awards on Saturday.
Calabar is coming off an impressive season with the Pensioners in the Zambian Divison One league as they finished third to secure an automatic promotion spot and missed the title by just six points.
Calabar will make a return to the Zambian top flight where he has played since making the move from Gor Mahia back in 2014
Napsa capped off their spectacular season by winning the FA Cup after beating Zambian Super League current champions Red Arrows to lift their second-ever cup title.

During the season, the former Gor Mahia defender picked up a few yellow cards that handed him the Most Disciplined Player of the Year gong ahead of his teammates in the just-concluded season.
Elsewhere, Harambee Stars goalkeeper Ian Otieno has been named Zesco United’s most consistent player in recently concluded Zambian Super League season.
The Kenyan goalkeeper who let in the fewest goals in the season was among those who were dully crowned during the end of season awards.
Otieno conceded 22 goals in 34 matches he played, the fewest in the Zambian Super League.
