GSU and Prisons Kenya take lead national leagues

Defending champions General Service Unit (GSU) and Prisons Kenya remained perched on top of the ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/sports/category/57/volleyball-and-handball">national volleyball leagues GSU, who are coached by Gideon Tarus, lead the men's league with 12 points from four outings, which they've won. The champions have won 12 sets and lost one, in their four rounds of matches played.

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) are one point adrift after four rounds of matches with four wins. They have lost four sets. Prisons Rift Valley have shown great improvement and are third on the log in the 16-team league with nine points. They have won nine sets and lost two.

Last year’s finalists Prisons Kenya are fourth from two matches with two wins and have six points.

They have bagged six sets and are yet to lose a set. ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/national/article/2001414164/kenya-forest-service-undertakes-mapping-to-save-forests">Kenya Forest Services <(KFS) have played three matches and won twice. They have six points having won seven sets and lost four.

Kenya Defence Force (KDF) complete the top six teams with six points from three matches.

In the women's category, champions Prisons Kenya lead the table with six points from two matches and they have not lost a set.

KCB Bank are second with three points.
