Bruno Fernandes has explained the reason behind teeing up Edinson Cavani for his first Manchester United goal.

Two defeats in a row had put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under immense pressure after losses to Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir.
But a morale-boosting win over the Toffees before the international break was exactly what the Norweigan needed.
And he can largely thank Fernandes after two goals and an assist - after United went a goal down.
The performance from his main man might have saved his job while he also provided Cavani with his first goal for his new club.
The Uruguay international signed from Paris St-Germain on a free transfer with huge pedigree.
But after not playing since March, the 33-year-old is still getting used to life in the Premier League and has had to settle for a spot on the bench.
A few cameos passed but there is a feeling his goal against Everton could see him kick on now, something Fernandes has hoped for.
The Portugal international was through on goal and could have scored his hat-trick but instead passed the ball to Cavani to score.
Fernandes told BBC Sport: “The point is winning the game.
"[I set up Edinson Cavani because] for a striker it is important to score for his confidence, he will be important for us and the first goal will give him confidence.
“I don't need to think about a hat-trick, I need to think about the future.
“Every game is important, we are not good in the league so these three points are important.
"We have a game in hand so we can go closer to the top of the table.
"We are not the best team now, and we are not the worst team after Istanbul.
“We will get better if we do the right things.”
