Barcelona are ready to cut their loses and offload Ousmane Dembele for just £37m.

The Frenchman arrived at the Nou Camp three years ago from Borussia Dortmund for a mammoth £137m.

But injuries have hindered his career in Spain and he has started just five times for the Catalan club this term.

Throughout his Barcelona career he has managed just 74 appearances and, with most clubs feeling the knock on affects of the coronavirus, they are keen to rid of his £200,000-a-week wages.

The Spanish club hope a £37m price tag will attract plenty of suitors, despite Dembele's injury-prone nature.

A constant hamstring problem has been an issue at the Nou Camp but PSG are thought to be interested, claims Sport.

The French club were linked with the winger last summer and their sporting director Leonardo is thought to be keen.

PSG have the financial capacity to take on his hefty wages given their Qatari backing.

However they could face competition for Dembele's signature from Italian and Chinese clubs.

Barcelona are reported to have considerable interest in Inter Milan frontman Lauturo Martinez.

Manager Quique Setien already has Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann as forward options.

It means exits are almost certainly on the cards at the Nou Camp and Argentine youth guru Adrien Ruben claims Messi has already contacted his compatriot over a possible move.

He said: “Messi called him and wants him by his side soon, I have no doubt. For that reason, the deal to sign him is almost there.

“I know things will go well in Barcelona and that Lautaro will be an excellent replacement for Suarez. He's the ideal heir.

"Thanks to Barca he will continue to grow as a player and a man."
