We are now eight games into the 2019/20 Premier League season and the race for the golden boot is getting competitive.
As it stands, the top spot is shared by ="https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/manchester-city-fc">Manchester City< forward Sergio Aguero and ="https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/chelsea-fc">Chelsea< youngster Tammy Abraham.
Also chasing the award are ="https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/arsenal-fc">Arsenal< ’s Gabonese talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Norwich striker Teemu Pukki, Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, England trio Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Callum Wilson, as well as ="https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/liverpool-fc">Liverpool< duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
There are still 30 games to go but as it stands, the golden boot winner seems impossible to predict, with there only being a four-goal gap between first and 10th place.

It's fair to say whoever wins the prize will have to be extremely clinical.
Aguero, who currently has eight goals, has a ratio of 70 minutes per goal, which is a phenomenal record.
However, he only hits the target 41 per cent of the time, whereas ="https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/afc-bournemouth">Bournemouth< ’s Wilson has a far more impressive percentage of 92.
In fact, the Argentine has the worst shot accuracy of the top 10 goalscorers in the league, but has scored all but one of his shots on target.
This shows what we all know about Aguero; he is a clinical finisher. He also has eight years of Premier League experience in the bag.
Abraham, on the other hand, is a Premier League newbie, and has been a shining star in Frank Lampard’s young Chelsea side.
With a record of eight goals in as many games for Abraham, the young Englishman is looking very confident and has taken to life at Stamford Bridge like a duck to water.
His inexperience may be a concern going forward for the striker, and for Chelsea in general.
However if the youngster can remain consistent and continue his lethal run of form over the course of the season, he will definitely be one to look out for.
On Abraham’s tail is Arsenal star Aubameyang, on seven goals in eight games. He has maintained a 65 per cent shot accuracy.
The only concern being that he has played over 150 more minutes than Abraham and Aguero, and with Arsenal’s inconsistency the Gabon international may struggle for service as the season goes on.
However, he is one of last season’s golden boot winners and will no doubt be Arsenal’s main source of goals this season.

Tammy Abraham - 8 Goals
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 7 Goals
